Being a true American of fine character, and recognising the potential of the program to shift the balance of power in favour of the United States, Harris readily accepted the risks and became the first subject of the new program. Samuels would, following a long and arduous process, become the program’s first success; his physical transformation was to become a benchmark; a paragon of the potential of humanity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe quickly adapted to the prototype Rift-tech weaponry provided to him, so much so that he was issued with the first experimental heavy Tesla rifle which he insisted on field testing back on the European mainland.
