Mine racks were added to each side of the M113 as well as a rail for mounting knapsacks, camouflage nets, stretchers and tactical call-signs. Often the splash board on the front of the hull was removed due to the lack of water crossings that the IDF were required to conduct.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs well as the standard US armament of an M2 .50 cal machine-gun, the Israelis also added two FN MAG 7.62mm machine-guns on either side of the rear hatch.
